Our Expertise
Gail Hall leads Greener Infrastructure Consulting and is co-founder and President of the Australasian Green Infrastructure Network.
As a Geographer, Gail explores and understands space and place - recognising the differences in cultures, political systems, economies, landscapes and environments worldwide, and explores how the links between them shape how we live, think and interact with the world.
Currently based in Melbourne, Gail has worked in the UK, Victoria and Queensland for over 20 years in environmental planning.
Gail is well known in the urban greening, planning, environment and water sectors in Australia and the UK having worked at The Environment Agency UK, local governments in Victoria and Queensland and Melbourne Water in multiple technical and leadership roles.
Gail has extensive experience in planning, sustainability, water and green infrastructure policy and practice.

We research relevant local and international best-practice, that can be applied to Australian contexts, climates and your specific project. We work collaboratively with clients, internal and external stakeholders, presenting evidence-based research and proposals to influence plan development and decision-making.
We create future focused decisions together to create a plan that can be clearly articulated, practically implemented and evaluated to demonstrate impact.
